Bundle up and join us for a magical winter celebration at Wilson Park! The Oakwood Winter Festival returns with all your favorite cold-weather fun, hot drinks, and heartwarming community spirit.

❄️ Festival Activities

Ice skating rink - Free skate rentals available (all sizes!)

Snow sculpture contest - Register your team by noon to compete

Kids' craft corner - Make winter crafts and decorations to take home

Fire pits & s'mores stations - Marshmallows and supplies provided

Holiday market - Local vendors with handmade gifts and winter goods

Sledding hill - Bring your sled or borrow one of ours

Live ice carving demonstrations at 2:00 and 4:00 PM

Stay cozy with comfort food and drinks throughout the park:

Hot chocolate bar with all the toppings (sponsored by The Corner Café)

Chili cook-off - Sample entries from 10 neighbors competing for glory

Main Street Pizza wood-fired oven serving personal pizzas

Kettle corn, soft pretzels, and warm donuts from various vendors

Mulled cider and coffee stations at both park entrances

12:00 PM - Oakwood Elementary Choir performs winter favorites

1:00 PM - Magician Mark's winter wonder show

2:30 PM - Traditional folk dancing demonstration

3:30 PM - Community sing-along around the main fire pit

5:00 PM - Festival of Lights ceremony to illuminate the park

This FREE event is organized entirely by volunteers and made possible by generous support from Miller's Hardware, First National Bank, Oakwood Family Dental, Green Thumb Garden Center, and dozens of neighbor volunteers who bring the magic to life.

Special This Year: Bring a new, unwrapped toy for our annual toy drive and receive a raffle ticket for prize drawings every hour!
