The contractor plans to wrap up storm and sanitary underground work by the first week of October, after which they will begin removals and grading for the new curb & gutter, sidewalk, and street. In mid-October, the 
contractor will begin notifications 48 hours in advance for driveway closures to pour new driveways. None of these closures will last longer than 20 days. 2027 work on Pontiac up to Boston Court, Rosewood Circle, and Nokomis Court will not be complete with everything paved and streets reopening 
until the first week of November.

Leaf Collection

Due to the ongoing phase 1 road work, the Streets Division will not be able to collect loose piles of leaves or yard waste. Due to this you must put your leaves and yard waste into bags before you set it on the terrace on your 
assigned set-out dates this fall. Paper leaf & lawn bags are preferred, but you are allowed to use traditional plastic bags if necessary. We apologize for the inconvenience.
